Description
This is a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner role based in the Greater Chicago Area. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, focusing on wound care management. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient examinations, creating treatment plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals, monitoring patient progress, and educating patients on best practices for wound care and overall health management.
Requirements
Strong clinical skills, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Expertise in wound care management and familiarity with evidence-based practices
Proficiency in patient education and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to document patient information properly
Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary medical team and adapt to a mobile care environment
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and hold an active license to practice in Illinois
Previous experience in wound care or similar clinical settings is preferred
